Microsoft .Net framework available for Arcgis runtime SDK
Category: General Posted:Nov 13, 2014 By: Ashley MorrisonWith the recent development by Microsoft in Silverlight technology a great application for ArcGIS server had been built by the developers. During the current years ArcGIS runtime has been added to Windows platform. This has helped to integrate .Net and C++ technology. This has helped to prioritize the needs of new run time architecture. This has given an efficient API for coding. This support system has helped in sharing between Windows phone apps and windows store. Now the reliability on the run time along with the local data has drastically increased. Hence we have faster runtime services available. This has led to prioritization and integrating core runtime to ensure high performance.
The next advantage is providing a single SDK for multiple .NET platforms to ensure both core services and runtime applications. So this ArcGIS runtime for Microsoft .NET framework Training means having running application for Windows store, desktop and phone. As the platforms are different from each other, there would be a different mark-up and the code. But the codes can be reused across different platforms. The new built has supported code sharing across different platforms. The old code in the platforms shall not compile with the new SDK but the work shall be migrated very easily. The event based API has been replaced with a new task that is sync/wait. This shall change the code and shall make the code easy to maintain and read. Hence there has been an introduction in the new task approach with the help of asynchronous programming technique. Thus we have seen a migration to Desktop API from WPF SDK. The support has been extended to obtain the data and maps in 3D and offline.
With such new features, Microsoft .NET Training has again become an interesting area of study at ZaranTech. To know more about our course offerings please visit our website. http://www.zarantech.com/course-list/dotnet. Call 515-978-9047 or email [email protected].
