Microsoft reveals its future plans

Category: General Posted:Dec 10, 2014 By: Ashley Morrison

microsoftMicrosoft announced its plan to make the .Net programming platform an open source network for its users. It has been taken to cross platform of Mac and linux. The central idea remains at .Net core for future development for the same. With the development of many versions, certain companies target only one standard vertical. Hence this became a problem for Microsoft. So to handle more than one window variant,

Microsoft has developed portable classes. There are contracts with Windows app for these portable class libraries. But these provided partial solutions for the existing problems. There is a unified base class library for the Asp.Net 5 and native .Net. We have found that .Net core is the solution for such integration. Thus we can create an implementation for .Net. Certain set of packages like NuGet packages are available for .Net core platform as we know these packages shall be released during different times. The future plan of Microsoft is in the development of Visual Studio 2015 which shall have .Net core as the subset of .Net platform to provide extended flexibilities. Microsoft .Net has also introduced the modular approach for the coming 2015 year. These different packages shall be delivered and developed during different times of release. There would be no change in the basic .Net platform framework. The major goal for the new release of .Net platform is minimizing the API. Since .Net platform is an integration of various feature and platforms we need to consider the functionalities of the existing subsets. API has been minimized in the .Net core subset and portable libraries have been introduced for the same reason. The basic foundation has become open source along with cross platform. Hence agile delivery has been optimized using .Net core. The NuGet packages do not require any internet connections. To know more about ZaranTech course offerings please visit our website. http://www.zarantech.com/course-list/dotnet.
